TLW® - The Living Word® Translation is written in the spirit of accessibility and reverence. It aims to reflect the warmth and clarity often associated with devotional paraphrases, while maintaining close faithfulness to the meaning of the original biblical texts. Translated from the original Greek into clear, modern English, TLW® does not seek to alter God’s Word, but to remove unnecessary barriers that can hinder understanding.
